Wishbone is an effect in which you snap two stirring sticks, join them together in a "wishbone" formation, have two people sign the sticks, and then you put them in their hand and you then fuse the sticks together, leaving them with an impossible souvinear.
The method for Wishbone is very clever. You receive 40 gimmicks to perform the effect, and you will then need to either buy refills or the Wishbone package again (I don't know if PHP will be bringing out a refill package as of yet). The finished product (the two sticks fused together) looks great and the spectator will treasure this for years to come if you give it to them to keep as a souvenir.
You do not receive a DVD, rather a link to a page to watch the tutorial. The video is very well produced (as expected from PHP) and Bro Gilbert teaches everything you need to know to perform the effect. You are given a few bonus routines as well. I enjoy Bro's teaching style, he never leaves anything untouched and you always feel comfortable performing the effect after learning.
This is a great piece of situational magic. You could carry a few of these gimmicks with you in your pocket, if you know you are going to a coffee shop. It is very natural to pull out some stirring sticks at a coffee shop and it doesn't seem like a magic trick until it happens.
I feel like this is a great piece of magic in a coffee shop. If they aren't going to release refills and you have to purchase the entire project again to get more gimmicks, then I admit $35 is a little pricey. However, this is a great piece of situational magic and if it suits your character, or you go to coffee shops every now and then and want an organic piece of magic in that setting, Wishbone is for you! 9/10
