Wallet Weapon is Lloyd Barnes approach to the signed card to wallet. I haven't played with many card to wallet effects but this was pretty good. The effect is you show that you have a folded card in your wallet. The spectator holds onto your wallet or it goes back into your pocket. A card is selected, signed and lost into the pack. You open your wallet and pull out the folded card and it is their signed card.
The method requires you to gaff your wallet. However it is very minimal and will not affect your wallet. It takes roughly 5-7 minutes to set up and you would have everything you need at home anyway. It also requires a basic knowledge of card magic (MCF etc.) but it is still taught on the DVD.
The DVD is shot well and Lloyd teaches everything in detail. He goes over the construction and routines slowly and methodically. I really like his teaching style as I feel he doesn't leave anything out. He also teaches a few other effects using the gimmick that aren't card to wallet effects. He teaches a nice effect in which you take a folded piece of blank paper out of your wallet and with a shake, it turns into a dollar bill or whatever currency you want to use. A few other ideas are also shared.
The gimmick in the wallet should last a long time but the one thing that you will need to replace due to wear and tear is found everywhere and if not, it is so cheap.
Overall, I can't speak for other card to wallet utilities but this one is really good. The routine is simple to execute and is very clean looking. I highly recommend you watch the trailer (above) to see what I'm talking about. This has a lot of potential besides a card to wallet. You could come up with quite a few different routines using this concept. We have a winner with this one. Very, very good. 8.5/10
