This is a very interesting stage piece that is very strange but definitely could have a big impact during performance. Here is the description:
In absolute silence, the performer drops an imaginary ball, and a spectator catches it perfectly with their eyes closed.
This is kind of confusing so I will try explain the effect. You introduce a non-existent invisible ball. You then have the spectator close their eyes or even blindfolded and put out their hands. You drop the imaginary ball into their hands and they close their hands exactly as the imaginary ball would have hit it if it were real.
The routine is taught in PDF format and everything is well written and explained. There are a few black and white pictures and all credits are sourced at the end.
The actual method is very clever and unexpected. The cool thing is that due to the nature of the method, you are left completely clean at the end. Also no threads, loops, etc. are used.
The routine itself is really fun to play out. You could perform this as a PK demonstration and would work great with mind readers (especially as a warm-up effect).
Overall, this is really cool. It is well thought out and everything made sense on the PDF. The method itself is very clever and practical and doesn't take long to set up at all. I could use this in my parlour performances as a lead in to my Tossed Out Deck routine. There are so many possibilities to use this in your routines. This is really clever. 9/10
