Multitude is a DVD which highlights a gimmicked deck that has been around for ages, and gives you some really powerful routines to use with it. You receive the gimmicked deck and 16 routines which use it, taught on the DVD.
The deck is old and overlooked, and I really feel this brings it back in a great way. The deck is simple and not very hard to use, yet the routines and effects possible with this deck, truly seem impossible. The deck provided is good quality, just regular Bicycle USPCC printed cards. The deck comes complete, but you need to set up the pack so you can perform the effects, not that that's a huge issue. The clever thing about this deck is it can be legitimately shuffled and cleanly displayed front and back because it's pretty much a normal deck, with only a minor exception which makes the routines possible.
Vincent really worked on this, you can tell due to the plethora of routines taught on the DVD. The routines are all very different and there is a huge amount of variety. They all require the use of this deck, and all seem really clean and impossible. I found a few routines on here to cater to my performance needs, which was great. I loved how each effect was easy to do, seems impossible and spectators are involved.
The DVD was really well produced. Instructions were clear from Vincent, no sound or lighting issues. You also get a PDF with more routines, tips, psychology etc. which is great. Vincent can be a bit boring at times as he is very professional and he didn't have much of a character when performing but that's okay. You really can make this effects your own with some presentation.
Multitude is a great project. I don't mind gimmicks but gaffed decks have never really been my thing, but this has seriously made me reconsider using gimmicked decks, cause they are really powerful. They have taken a simple gaffed deck and made it into a powerhouse weapon that WILL fry spectators and magicians alike. Easy to use, adaptable and completely impossible seeming, Multitude ticks all the boxes in my books. 10/10
