Mc Sandwich is a gimmick which allows a selected card to either appear, vanish or change between two other cards. I recommend watching the trailer.
You receive two gimmicked card which allow the effects to happen. They are simple and well made. However, the gimmick is very visible. if someone looks at the card from the wrong angle, they WILL see the gimmick. They may not know what it is but they will see it and call you out on it. The gimmick you receive is very similar to a concept from Shin Lim and in my opinion, Shin's is far superior as it is less visible.
The DVD is produced to a mediocre standard and Mickael's teaching is a little hard to understand as his English isn't the greatest. However, you do learn everything you need to know and he gives you a few routines to start you off with.
You get an ambitious card/sandwich routine. In this, the selected card is lost in the deck. Two indifferent cards are placed on the top of the deck and with a shake, the selection appears in between the indifferent cards. This is good, however requires a set up and the indifferent cards aren't examinable. Also taught is a way to vanish a spectator's card between the indifferent cards. You can then make the selection appear in the deck or anywhere you want. This is probably better than the other routine. I didn't like the effect shown on the demo in which the selection goes from underneath the indifferent cards to in between them. I didn't like it because it doesn't really look like much has happened.
Overall, it is a fun gimmick with a lot of potential if you put your mind to it. The gimmick will give you sandwich routine a nice visual element. $35 is a bit pricy for what you are getting but if you like what you see, then it's worth it. I do wish Mickael gave a few more routine ideas, but this really is a utility gimmick with a whole lot more uses if you put your mind to it. 7/10
