Basically what this is (or meant to be) is a magnetic deck of cards which would make your card flourishes more stable and far easier. I saw the trailer and I liked the look of this. I have to try and review this without revealing too much. This is the biggest waste of time I have seen in a while.
The claim is that it is "a special deck with real magnets" and the DVD has "step by step tutorials". First, both of those are pretty much lies. The deck isn;t magnetic. There is an addition that you add into the deck (which is around 10 cards thick) in order to perform the flourishes. It would be a nightmare trying to palm the gimmick onto the deck. The gimmick is sturdy and will last a long time. However, the magnets only keep the gimmick in it's closed state. The magnets have nothing to do with the actual flourishes.
The DVD is ok-ish produced. Each flourish is named "effect #1" or "effect #8". I think there are over thirty of these spanning two menu pages. It is so hard to find certain sections of the DVD due to the naming on the menu. However the teaching is terrible. It is almost impossible to learn the flourishes. Each flourish tutorial is under a minute long and it consists of Granell performing the flourish at a slowed-down medium speed once, with no talking or pop up texts. I reminded 18 times (yes I counted) in order to get the basic move down.
Overall, in my opinion this was a waste of time and money. I may be a little biased as I do cardistry myself, but it is so much more rewarding when you put the practice in and you can finally do it without a gaffed, magnetic stack of cards. There was a minority of clever thinking behind this but this needs a whole lot more work. Not impressed at all. 3/10
