Insight is a method for peeking a selected card, from the mind of Tom Elderfield. You can riffle through the deck and get the spectator to say stop - and you instantly know the card. You can also have them select a card out of a spread and know the identity, use the gimmick as a peek of the bottom or top card, the possibilities really are endless.
You receive with the DVD, a simple gimmick which you can bring into play during any card routine and the spectators won't suspect a thing. You can carry this gimmick around with you with no extra pocket space occupied other than what you already carry (I can't really say more without tipping the method).
This method for peeking a card isn't a new concept, but the way of applying it is. It works very well and does what it claims it does. It will take a little bit of practice to adjust to this method and get used to placing the gimmick in the correct location. However, it is very easy to use once in play and I have already applied it into my set, and will update this review upon using it :)
The DVD is very well produced and Shin Lim and Tom Elderfield host and teach this gimmicks applications. The DVD felt more like a jam session where the two threw ideas on the table in hope that you will find an application you will like and use. This wasn't a bad thing, it was actually really refreshing to have all this creativity literally leaking over one simple gimmick.
There really isn't much to say about this project other than this gimmick is incredibly smile and does what it says it does. It is practical, easy to use and you can use this method in your existing routines to enhance them. If you liked what you saw in. The trailer and can see a use for this method in your routines, pick it up. It does what it says it will - simple as that. I really enjoyed this and I am sure you will too. 9/10
