Jeff Prace's new DVD release "In Your Wallet" gives you three powerful routines that you can carry in your wallet everyday (with the exception of one). This was a really nice compilation DVD with three very different effects.
You get three effects on this DVD - an ACAAN with a reveal, a photo mentalism effect and an effect where you alter a school photo (a variation on an effect from Jeff's DVD "Gum", also from Kozmo).
The ACAAN is displayed on the trailer and I underestimated it. However, after playing around with this, this is an extremely strong effect. I thought the number selection was fishy but it really isn't to the spectator. The only problem is that all of these fit in your wallet - this will require you to carry a deck of cards too, but we are magicians, so this shouldn't be an issue.
The mentalism effect was good, but not really examinable and I didn't find it very powerful, but I have never really liked mentalism so don't take me too seriously in that aspect. However, the last routine with the school photo I found great! One of my first DVDs that i ever purchased when I first started magic was Gum and I performed the original effect for years. This variation was really cool and I guarantee you will love it. These three effects taught are all different, unique and fun.
The DVD is very well produced, as usual from Kozmo Magic. The DVD looks like a wallet and the disc looks like a drivers license. You receive some gimmicked debit cards to perform the ACAAN reveal. These are of great quality and will last a long time. No issues here.
Overall, this was a great project and it promises (and delivers) three effects that you can carry around with you everyday in your wallet. $25 is a reasonable price for what you receive. Jeff is a very clever creator and I always enjoy checking out his releases. I can promise you that you won't be disappointed with this DVD. Check it out! 9/10
