Hand-O-Matic by Mark Southworth is a utility device/gimmick which allows a selected card, your business card, any small lightweight piece of paper or card - to appear in the spectators hands.
Basically, you get a device that will shoot a card into the spectators hands. The device is brought into play during the routine through your patter. It is made by Uday Jadugar so as usual, expect it to be of a great quality. The reset takes around 10-15 seconds and you can have it set up for a while before you perform.
As for the actual effect, it work well and does shoot out quickly and looks great. Only issue is it is incredibly noisy, and you cannot cover up the noise with a cough or just talking. However, everything is else is great and the gimmick is very well made.
The DVD you get is well produced and Mark Southworth covers a few routines utilising this prop. There were a few moments where the camera was out of focus or they weren't zoomed in at the right time to see something, which was annoying. However there weren't too many issues, just a few momentary out of focus shots.
This device, while expensive ($60), is pretty cool. Very James Bond sort of thing. If you like the effect advertised and don't mind a little bit of noise when the magic happens, you will be happy with your purchase. It does what is advertised and it does it well. I think it's a really cool and new piece of magic, I enjoyed this. 7/10
